GUESS WHERE I WAS?
Annick Goutal’s original shop, is amazing. Such a nice SA helped me. I got the Petite Cherie and a vanilla scent which I wear together. Divine!
There were so many opticians in Paris. They all had cute signs like this! Geek chic.
The Dior Fine jewels boutique, next to Mikimoto❤
Rue Cambon! A huge boutique, great service. Was quite busy but there were enough Sa’s for everyone😀 I got a little something here…😉
Sadly no pictures from Isabel Marant boutique. I was too excited to get my shoes!
what is this?😉
a box from chanel? I wonder what it contains…
special Rue Cambon packaging…❤
The necklace! A small – medium sized CC with Pearls, Green stones and black and silver🙂 I loooooove it! mod pics coming up next post!
The back is almost as pretty! Rope detailings.. Could wear it this way for something less conspicuous.
Something furry from Claudie Pierlot… my favourite shop in paris. Going to order tons of stuff online😀
Sorry the picture does not do it justice. Rabbit collar is removable. I’ll put better pictures tomorrow🙂
My coat on the front of the lookbook.
Sorry it wouldn’t flip😦
got a cool re usable shopping type bag.😀
yay!! delwar boots in cognac🙂
will upload mod pictures asap! (i.e. in next 30 hours approx.)
This top from H&M… It’s sooooooooo cute. Alex from HRHCOLLECTION (hrhcollection.net) wore it in one of her amazing youtube videos. I really admired it, it falls in a really nice simple way and the hearts are so cute and can give any outfit such an adorable vibe. I want it… bur I’m not sure how I’ll wear it? maybe jeans and wedges?
MAC COSMETICS lipstick in CremeCup. My favourite lipstick, Angel, broke and melted today, I’ve used it sooo much!! I wanted something a bit lighter and creamier, I need to pick this up ASAP.
A ‘Pull Zoom’ from Zadig et Voltaire. Sooooo chic but so wearable. Comfy x Glam is my love. I can imagine throwing this over jeans, over skirts, shorts, ANYTHING.❤ the sequins really add a little something to your look.
not overly expensive but overly gorgeous.. Again, I first really thought about the Rocco after watching Alex’s video. I really like it in this colour…. I will try and track it down! Alex if you’re reading this, how did you find your rose gold? I cant see it on any websites…😦
Bye my lovelies!

So, everyone always wonders, what am I supposed to wear between summer, and fall, or winter and spring or fall and winter etc! Since everyone has different climates I put together this set which gives you a lot of leeway and ideas for making a transitional evening outfit. I started with an LBD, and I’m using the Isabel Marant Etoile Jabeth dress. It’s ruffled, flowy and stunning, You can wear this all year round and change it to fit your climate by adding or taking away pieces. The shoes I have here are from Miu Miu, and are these gorgeous suede dirty dusty pink wedges. They are quite comfortable and have good support, since they are platform wedges. They are one of our two accent pieces for this outfit. I wanted the outfit to be quite subtle and neutral, but still current. The beautiful colour of this shoe will look great with the cool colour pallete of blacks and greys which are the body of this outfit. If it’s really cold you could wear tights (in black) with this dress, or high thigh socks if you want to go a bit more fashion forward. (also in black.) Over the dress we’re going to throw on this amazing military grey jacket from Roberto Cavalli. The military trend may not be as strong as in the past, but I think that a military jacket will stay in fashion for a long time. This is a great piece to have in your closet, you can pair it with anything, jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts, whatever you want! I think it will look better un buttoned but if you’re really cold it would be okay to button it! Then we’re going to put a printed scarf. This is a polka dot scarf from Stella Mccartney, that follows a big trend right now. Since we have no other patterns in this outfit its good to add this scarf to give a bit of drama and more textures.(thats what fall’s all about right?!) I would just wrap it loosely around your neck (hold both ends far apart in front of your neck, then pull ends behind you and bring over shoulders to create a loop tie. Pull the loop down a bit to make it more relaxed.) Then finally an Yves Saint Laurent arty ring in our pink accent colour just to finish it off.
First of all, all items have links and stuff at the bottom of this post. So don’t worry about not being able to find it.
1. Stripe – 3.1 Phillip Lim Black Metallic Stripe Sweater
This jumper is a perfect trusty “keep you warm” type, while still being stylish. Its charcoal, so will accent everything else you have, and has little tiny metallic threads which will make you look just fab.😀 I know I want it!
available from my-wardrobe.com
2. Spot – Jeremy Laing sweater
The jumper against the 3.1… This jeremy laing also looks nice and cosy, but it’s longer and more oversize, so will look great over things like dresses skirts and jeans, well the sweater above will to, just this will give you a more cool thrown on vibe unlike Phillip’s sweater, which is more school with a twist geek chic stuff haha. (gone off on a tangent there, sorry about that :S ) ANYWAY. I think the polka dots have a really cool affect, almost like those dandelion seed fairys.🙂 Again it’s a bit pricey, but if you’re needing a sweater that will keep you cozy for seasons to come, I’d go for it!
available from lagarconne.com
3. Stripe – Opening Ceremony Breton shirt
A classic. We all know those really really expensive bretons from Chloe which I have not featured in this post. Here I have a more t shirt type breton, which will look GREAT tucked in to shorts with a blazer, or with a skirt, or jeans or anything really. A STAPLE in any chic parisian’s armoire!
available from lagarconne.com
4. Stripe – SUNO New York nautical jacket
I really wanted to put the DvF staedtler blazer in here. It’s modern, it’s double breasted, its striped, it’s oversized, and i love it. However it’s not available any more -its from waaaay back in 07 or something!😥 – ANYWAY. This is the only alternative I could find. It’s really old school style, and I like it. Nautical is always good me thinks. It’s a bit pricey though!
available through matchesfashion.com
5. Spot – Stella McCartney elastic waist skirt
Now, I’m not usually a fan of the midi skirt, I mean, why not have a graceful maxi, or cute mini, or sharp pencil? But I really do quite like this.. It wil look great with contrasting pieces like t shirts or blazers!
available through net-a-porter.com
6.Spot – Alice Olivia silk skirt
this skirt is really sweet and almost childish! It’s silky and ruffly! So how could you not be drawn to it? Pair it with a tee and biker jacket for a cool vibe, but I know I would wait it with the Phillip lim sweater and isabel marant dicker boots! and ITS ON SALE!
available through mytheresa.com ( SALE ALERT!!!!!)
7. Stripe – H&M Skirt
This is my bargain buy, it’s only £8 (14-16 $$ ?) but it’s really amazing! It has an elastic waist so it could be high or low slung, it will look great with pretty much anything! I have not much else to say because you can’t really go wrong with it. I will definitley be buying this ASAP!
available through hm.com
8. Spot – Stella Mccartney Scarf
Another stella. Again, not much else to say. It’s a really nice scarf, add it to any non pattern outfit and it will spice it up a bit. Or mix with fellow spots or stripes to really go for a trendy look!
available through net-a-porter.com
9. Stripe – Michael Kors Scarf
I’m just going to copy and paste the above because it’s exactly the same thing.” Again, not much else to say. It’s a really nice scarf, add it to any non pattern outfit and it will spice it up a bit. Or mix with fellow spots or stripes to really go for a trendy look!”
10. Spot – Tsumori Chisato Scarf
This is my favourite thing of all the items. It’s from japan, so its got to be cute. It’s an amazing peach colour (basically the accent colour of my ENTIRE closet) it’s floaty, it has polka dots, tiny sculls that are pretty and winking or smiling, and little yellow cat heads! I just loved how it puts a twist on the polka dot trend. and is my 4th most wanted item. (yes, I have a list.)😛
available through openingceremony.us
Thats right! Hopefully I will be going to Paris in october. I can’t wait to go to collete, and the champs elysees etc… It will be amazing, to have macaron breakfasts with hot chocolate and go to trendy little cafes.. I CANNOT WAIT. Also
I really really want to go so I can get my hands on…
Isabel Marant Dicker boots in black. OMG…. I just can’t stop looking at them and thinking about stuff I’ll wear with them. On the purseforum I could chat to other ladies about them allllll day and night! I don’t actually have them yet, but I put them in a lot of polyvore sets to make sure they go with stuff I wear.🙂
I know I don’t really have anyone who is reading my posts. But if you are, tell me on the purseforum, my username is Miss.Cherie, i frequent on the wardrobe forum, specificially the marant thread and british thread. Or actually follow me, ( go to bottom of page ) or comment! Thank you so much!
